What are flip books ?

First, it might help to explain what a flipbook is.  Do you remember years ago when you began doodling and sketching in the corner of your textbook ?  One page of a ball bouncing, the next of the ball slightly lower on the page, then hitting the ground, the next page bouncing a little higher and so on.  This went on for a while until you flipped the pages back and watched the ball bounce up and down via animation.

The flipbook has deep roots, first coming on the scene in September of 1868, when an English printer by the name of John Barnes Linnet patented the form of animation under the name of Kineograph, or ‘moving picture’  Fast forward and some people might remember seeing this version of the flipbook in penny arcades and amusement parks.  Flipbooks have long been used by advertisers and marketers, from prizes in Cracker Jack boxes in the early 1900′s to novelty giveaways for automobile and snack food companies in the 1960′s-70′s.

So, what is KoolFlipBooks you ask?  Simply put, KoolFlipBooks will bring your events and parties to life with the newest craze in customized favors. A unique blend of 19th century invention and 21st century technology.

How ?  We set up a studio in a 10′x10′ area at a party or event and invite guests to step behind the camera and make a short video clip. In less than 2 minutes, the video clip is transformed into a personalized flipbook while partygoers watch. It creates a buzz as your guests interact with each other and laugh at the entertaining video clips, while giving each other creative ideas. KoolFlipBooks averages approx 40 flipbooks per hour (up to 80 flip books are possible for extra large events) and is versatile enough to fit into any party setting, from casual to couture.

We are NOT Part Time Entertainers, Anonymous Event Managers or A Photographers Sideline.

Every panel on the front of our studio can be fully customised to your requirements with any design you can think of. The only limit is your imagination! Or we can simply colour code to suit your decor. With a polished stainless steel framework and individual panels, our studio fits seamlessly into any surroundings.

We have Public Liability Insurance up to 5 million (which most councils now demand) and all of our equipment is PAT tested. We are the preferred supplier for numerous Venues, Councils and Organisations.
